4th of July Arts and Crafts in Hartford, WI
Get Patriotic with Red, White, and Blue Paint Projects
NOTE: We will be closed July 4th this year.
Celebrate America’s Independence Day by creating art at Creative License® in Hartford, WI. We have many fun activities for kids and adults of all ages. Stop by our studio to see all the creative opportunities we have for 4th of July arts and crafts!
Fun Independence Day Activities for Kids
Let your kids make their own fireworks display on painted canvas. Use a dark background to really make the colorful fireworks pop. Our acrylic paint is available in many colors, including metallic hues which will shimmer and shine.
Kids may also pick one of our many ceramic art pieces and decorate it however they want. There are many fun figures, like animals and mythical creatures. Or pick a ceramic bust of Captain America for your kids and help them color in his patriotic costume.
4th of July Art Projects for Adults
Adult artists can try all of the above or opt for more advanced projects. Hosting a 4th of July party? You can create an entire dining set with patriotic bowls, plates, and drinkware. Add stars and stripes to a ceramic coffee mug to create a flag you can bring anywhere. Once your ceramic piece is fired in our kiln, it is safe to use with food and in the dishwasher!
A wood board is sturdier than canvas and just as fun to paint. Decorate your board with a patriotic quote and hang it up in your home, no need for a frame! Considering using the lyrics to “The Star-Spangled Banner” or a similar song.
There are even more activities thanks to our fused glass art. Combine red, white, and blue glass pieces to build anything from a dish to pendants and candle holders. Just ask our Creative Consultants to get you started.
